Here at the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of AAZK, we are keepers, trainers, aquarists, educators and even marketing professionals all within our zoological institutions. We currently have membership from the Philadelphia Zoo and the Camden Aquarium.

What We Do…
Host Monthly Member Meetings:
Our meeting are open to all members and prospective members. If you were just wanting to join a meeting to see what all the buzz is about, please do! AAZK is not just for keepers, but membership levels vary from former zoo professionals, volunteers, educators and more!
Attend conferences, professional development courses and obtain certificates:
How does this happen? The more events and meeting you attend get you points. At the end of the year those points are added up and our Chapter can pay for a couple members with the highest points to attend courses, receive different professional certificates or even go to the annual AAZK conference.
Create new and exciting ways to engage with other people outside our own zoo community:
Whether through our Bowling for Rhinos event, art sales, Flower Power Fundraisers and other activities throughout the year; we are always happy to hear new idea or be offered help to run an exciting new event!
